Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted - Review

I was just looking through the animation section of Netflix and I came across Madagascar 3. Since I had liked the first two, I gave this one a shot. What surprised me is that this movie is better than the other two combined! I felt like the humour was funnier and more clever, not just toilet humour that some animated movies have (like the first two). The villain was absolutely hilarious. Like a terminator on a mission to track down our heroes. I liked all the new circus animals too! The penguins were awesome as always and the final payoff satisfies on all levels. They do go for the predictable 'liar-reveal' technique which can be sometimes painful to watch but this movie played it out really well. They didn't drag it out like some other animated films (again, like the first two). If you are ever interested in watching a movie with your younger kids or siblings or just your whole family, Madagascar 3 is a great choice.
