Fargo - Review

While my mother recommended Fargo, my dad warned me to stay away. Sorry Dad, but I enjoy Fargo. William H. Macy and Frances McDormand steal the show with their comedic chops in this one hell of a messed up story. What I love is that this movie takes place in Minnesota and the filmmakers show us that nothing exciting is happening in this town. It's cold, it's empty, the people are very awkward, strange and "real funny-looking", that when a situation like the one William H. Macy's Jerry gets himself into arises, the contrast is so distinct, you have to keep watching. Even though you may have no idea who has got a clue in this town. A very unique and funny crime drama that leaves you with a very potent after taste.
