It's funny going back on films you used to love when you were younger. Sometimes, they can respark that magic and bring back that joy you had just like you saw it for the first time. Other times, it can leave you baffled as to why you loved it in the first place. My sister and I were weird kids... and we used to quote The Love Guru all the time. So much so that we were surprised how much we were actually able to quote the film. However, looking back on it now, The Love Guru actually has some good messages in it, but they get completely lost in the ridiculousness of the extremely cheap and lame humour, terrible performances, bland writing and cringeworthy moments left right and centre. If you want dumb, there are smarter dumb movies than this. If you want Mike Myers, he has better films. If you want a movie that may leave you laughing due to the mind boggling creative decisions, then The Love Guru is for you!
