Flubber - Review

I always remember seeing trailers for Flubber because they were on every Disney Home Video I owned. I decided to give it a watch and I liked what I saw. Going into it, you should know this movie is made for kids aged 5 - 12 and some of the jokes really are geared towards them. There is one scene where someone gets hit in the head with an apple. Instead of stopping and looking around for where the apple came from, they throw what they are holding high into the air and jump and fall flat on their face. Lots of slapstick humour here. I really liked the actual Flubber. It was cute and fun. Robin Williams' character is smart, fun but a bit dumb making us question some of the things that he does. The villains are worthless and the story should have developed them more instead of focusing on this Webo character who doesn't serve that much purpose. Overall, your kids will like this movie and I liked it too.
