Big Hero 6 - Review

Original Review (Jan 5th, 2015) - One of the best Disney movies I've seen in a long time. It had everything you'd want out of an animation film. Enjoyable characters, intense flying and action sequences, lots of good jokes and a ton of heart. The setting alone (San Fransokyo) is so damn cool. Can't wait to see this one again! PS - I want my own Baymax!

After a second viewing, Big Hero 6 still holds up! Although the plot is fairly basic, I had a smile on my face for the majority of the film (except for the sad parts of course.) When a film can do that, it deserves a good rating. It's funny because there isn't anything particularly spectacular in it. Big Hero 6 is flat out a fun time. A damn fun time in fact. It didn't seem like it was pandering to little kids, it felt like it was just trying to be an enjoyable movie and that it was 100%.
