The Interview - Review

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not the biggest fan of James Franco. At the beginning of this movie, it was making me mad just because of how stupid his character was and how he acted. Not all the jokes were landing (except for Franco's huge amount of Lord Of The Rings references) and I was starting to feel like the hype was all for nothing. Thankfully the film gets way funnier when our main characters get to North Korea. Kim Jong Un was really funny and some of the action scenes felt like they could have been directed by Quentin Tarantino. The last two-thirds of this movie really shine as dumb but hilarious comedy. Worth a watch if you like comedies like This Is The End and Neighbours (It's made by the same people).
