Leaving Las Vegas - Review

Leaving Las Vegas is one of the most depressing movies I've ever seen. A drunk who goes to Las Vegas and falls in love with a hooker and... that's about it. I literally can't think of anything else to say about the story or plot. That's it. Drunk man falls in love with hooker woman. Nicholas Cage won the oscar for this movie and honestly, I don't know why. I know he acts drunk the whole movie but... I don't know, it didn't really impress me that much. There's really not much to say about this movie. Just kinda dull. I will say this though, it seems to me like there are a ton of young film students who love this depressing stuff about drugs and abuse and relationships like that. If you are one of those people, then this film is for you. If you want some enjoyment out of your motion pictures, look elsewhere.
