Whiplash - Review

What a movie! I don't know where to begin. Ok, let's start at Miles Teller. He was fantastic in this movie and I wanted to see him succeed more than ever in this movie. JK Simmons... Wow! He plays probably the biggest asshole I've ever seen in a motion picture. When the villain of a movie does his evil deeds and it makes me want to jump into the movie and punch him in the face, that's the sign that the movie has a great antagonist. I've never hated a "bad guy" in a movie since Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. Playing in a jazz band for 5 years, this movie was really relatable (except for having a band teacher throw chairs at your head and making you cry in class) But the ending......One of the best in movie history! Not gonna lie, this movie can be hard to watch at times because of the pain and suffering the main character has to go through but a movie that everyone must see!
