Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure - Review

Two stoner type dudes end up creating a band whose music will align the planets and create ever lasting harmony with life. The only thing standing in their way is passing their History report. How are they going to do that? Well, travel back in time with a phone booth to capture famous historical figures of course... Um... What? Wait... is this a joke? This sounds like one of the dumbest premises ever.

"Wait, Brandon! What if I told you that they didn't take itself seriously, had lots of funny jokes and had two of the most fun, lovable, leads ever in a motion picture?" Um... sure, I'll give it a shot. What I got was one of my favourite movies of all time. Yep, I love this movie so much. Movies don't always have to be grand epic stories with deep complex characters and allegorical plots. Sometimes, you need a movie that can make you smile from beginning to end. This film may do that better than any other film I know. I dare not spoil anything in particular about their "most triumphant" journey through time, just know that it is full of "excellent" quotes and that Bill & Ted might be cinema's most lovable idiots. That's all you really need to know, so I'll leave you with this. Be excellent to each other, party on dudes!
