Jurassic World - Review

Jurassic World feels like Jurassic Park on steroids. It's bigger, it's scarier, it's more action packed, and we have more subplots. However, we had to replace something to get bigger and more action packed. In my eyes, it was the heart of the movie. We have the same core story as Jurassic Park, except we now have two annoying kids who don't look terrified to see a dinosaur, a subplot about the military training raptors for weapons, and Chris Pratt who simply is a badass but doesn't feel that engaging because we don't get to know anything about him. For long time fans of the franchise, this movie could bring back that spark of wonderment. However, for people who want a solid movie with that movie magic, it ain't here.
