Southpaw - Review

Man did this movie get me emotional. One thing I love about Antoine Fuqua's films is that he always delivers intense and emotional pictures. Even if his stories have flaws, you always seem to get really invested in the characters are care for them. Although I've seen this story hundreds of times before (The guy who has it all, loses it all, then becomes the champion in a new way), Southpaw tells it in an intense, raw, and emotional way. Great acting from the entire cast and superb fight sequences, this is one of the best boxing movies I've ever seen next to Rocky!
