Terminator: Genisys - Review

Skip this movie guys. That is the short bit. Why? If you are really interested, is because the Terminator storyline is now completely out of whack. The first two films were so perfect, it left no loose ends to the franchise. Then, they tried to soft-reboot this franchise three separate times just in hopes of having another cinematic universe to compete with in Hollywood. With every single entry, not only did the films get worse, but the timelines got more and more confusing. Now the story for every Terminator film is needlessly convoluted. This is a major problem because during the film, I am constantly trying to figure things out while the film does a terrible job at explaining it to me. It also doesn't help that Jai Courtney is a terrible choice for Kyle Reese. Emilia Clarke is an okay Sarah Connor but I think I was able to watch her just because she is one of my celebrity crushes. Although this film has some amazing special effects, this film was just so forgettable and confusing. Just stick with the first two entries.
