The Man From U.N.C.L.E - Review

This film has all the tools to be a fun movie. Likable characters, fun action and an overall upbeat feel to it. Unfortunately, with the forgettable plot and over-reliance on trying to seem "cool" (I'm looking at you shaky cam), you won't remember ever seeing this movie. It's a shame because this story could have been a fun one especially because this world Guy Ritchie has recreated is a beautiful one. You can tell that this film definitely has a unique vision with some awesome production design and costumes. Not to mention an awesome soundtrack. These are qualities that most films would die for. It sucks because this unique world is full of a story which is so forgettable and bland and is poorly executed. If you are looking for a film that will keep you entertained while watching it but leaving you with no lasting impression, this film is for you.
