Spectre - Review

Let me say this right off the bat. If you go into a movie theatre, make sure you know proper theatre etiquette. By that I mean keep your arms on your side of the damn chair. So yeah, other than having my personal space invading while watching this movie, I did enjoy watching what was on the screen. Many reviews have either praised this films as being one of the best James Bond films or as being a huge disappointment. I myself enjoyed Spectre. As opposed to the other Daniel Craig films, this entry definitely amped up the spectacle with insane stunts and action set-pieces. The opening montage with Sam Smith's song was extremely well done. One of the best title sequences in Bond history. Where this film fell a little flat was in its second act where Bond is piecing the clues together about the Spectre organization. It wasn't as interesting as the second acts in Casino Royale or Skyfall. But the biggest disappointment was the lack of Christoph Waltz. He was so menacing and evil and I wanted more of him! Lea Seydoux is portrayed like the one Bond girl that steals the heart of 007 and honest to god, they kind of pulled it off. This film honestly feels like the final James Bond film ever. Definitely the last film for Daniel Craig, but I can't wait for No Time To Die.
