The Town - Review

What a great movie! Excellent directing, writing and acting from the entire cast. The movie proves to me that Ben Affleck is one of my favourite actors and filmmakers. You are immediately 'sucked into' the world that these characters live in and the drama they have to face. Hats off to Jeremy Renner and Blake Lively playing outside of their normal roles they play in other movies. Renner being an evil murdering bank robber and Lively playing a drug addicted hooker. The bank heist scenes are brutally intense and reminded me a lot of Michael Mann's "Heat". It's a great story about deciding who your true character is and finding out what you truly want to live for. Great film!
