Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope - Review

A perfect movie. A movie that changed a generation. A movie that made me get into filmmaking. If you haven't seen this one already....

So that was my original review. Pretty small looking back on it. However, I believe my mindset was, "If I get going, I will be writing for days." That is a very true statement. I could talk about Star Wars for days, it's pathetic. So I'm going to limit myself just to a little story and hopefully, that can count as my two cents on this perfect film.

I was about 7 when I saw this film for the first time. I was blown away with the worlds, the music, the characters, the story about the Jedi, Rebels and Empire and everything about this movie. However, I never became the super fan I am today by just watching it. It was only a couple months later that I went to Disneyland for the first time. My first ride was, of course, Star Tours. After going on that ride and walking out of the simulator with the Star Wars theme playing, something inside me changed. I now had not just seen Star Wars, I lived it. Sounds dumb and corny right? But it's true. This is one of, if not my favourite movie ever made. If you have not seen this movie, I beg you to watch it. I give many recommendations through my website, but if you had to watch only one series of movies, it would be these ones. Pure magic!
