Fast Times At Ridgemont High - Review

Another review down the tubes, so here we go. From what I can remember, this film's plotline was very thin. Not much story, just teenagers hanging out and I guess for 1982, films didn't really capture that demographic on screen before, at least for the 1980's. Obviously, many other teen films would come shortly afterward like the Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, but I believe this is where the story started off. This was the era that teens were getting more sexually adventurous and the mall was the place to hang out. For that reason, Fast Times at Ridgemont High captures that era pretty well. Although my years of high school were 2008-13, people have always told me I have an old soul. This is because instead of listening to Katy Perry or Beyonce or any other big artists right now, I listen to REO Speedwagon, Duran Duran, Phil Collins, etc. People say that I would have been much happier in the 80's. For that reason, I enjoyed this movie. It's not as funny as some other teen movies out there but it's worth a watch for sure!
