Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi - Review

My original review from December 3rd, 2015 was this,

"A perfect end to a perfect trilogy. All the characters' arcs were completed with perfection and the scale was even more epic than the last one. It's hard to believe that this year, we will get a continuation of this story. It's even harder to imagine how they will top this. But the package of a New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi all watched back to back is a great experience that should be witnessed by all!"

Just some things to add. This was the first time I can remember watching an entire series of films. Having the sense of curiosity of, "what happens next?" and having to put in the next VHS tape to find out. I remember watching the Spider-man films growing up but I don't ever remember having that sense of needing to watch the next story to find out how it all ends. Return of the Jedi might still be my favourite ending to a trilogy. Yes, even over Toy Story 3. Of course now with The Force Awakens, the story continues, but that still doesn't detract from the perfect ending to this movie. I can't wait for the day I show my kids Star Wars for the first time. The original three films are cinematic perfection!
