Polar Express - Review

Growing up, this was THE Christmas movie to watch every year! Full of excitement, adventure and Christmas spirit. Watching it again as an adult, I can safely say that this film still has lots of the excitement and adventure that I remember as a kid and it does have a wonderful Christmas feel to it. This film definitely runs full steam on nostalgia. But what I didn't notice was the overabundance of moments where the characters just flat out tell the audience what is happening or how they are feeling. All the "Look!"'s and "We're Lost" and things like that really bugged me this time. Nitpicking aside, I still love this film. It would always get me in the Christmas spirit and is a film that every child should see around Christmas time! PS - Tom Hanks is awesome!
