I never knew Ellen Page could be so good in a movie before. I've only seen her in two X-Men films and have never really seen her in anything else, but she is fantastic. So is the entire cast. Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Allison Janney, J.K. Simmons, all do a great job. This film could have pulled the hilarious sex-overdriven comedy style, but then it would feel a bit too tasteless dealing with the issue of teen pregnancy. It could have also gone the pretentious, super artsy hipster style but then, in my opinion, guys, would come across as too preachy. They find the perfect balance and it results in a solid movie.
