During the first 3/4 of the film, I was thinking to myself, "Yes, Michael Bay, Yes! This is what you should be directing! This kind of movie." I was totally invested. The characters were likable and the story was interesting but also intense. It definitely felt like I was watching, "Call Of Duty: The Movie". But towards the end, I felt like it dragged on... a lot. I felt the urge to check my watch and was wondering, "Okay guys... let's wrap it up." And during the emotional scenes, I didn't feel anything. Not really a good sign. Overall, 13 Hours was an enjoyable movie. Not the best war film in the world but I give props to Michael Bay for making a film that had heart and dignity.
