Yet another movie where I can't stop talking in the accent the characters speak with in the film. In this case, the Irish accent. As for the film, I've seen this story before. Girl goes away to another country, meets a 'fella' and the struggle that ensues is whether or not her true place is back home or in this new place. What makes this film memorable are the great performances and the surprising humour. This film could have easily been pretentious and kinda boring to watch. For a brief moment, it dives into that territory but it quickly jumps back into entertainment grounds. Overall, this film is a wonderful choice for people looking for a date night movie in the theatres. It's also nice to see that Telefilm Canada is putting their money towards good projects like this one.
