Man of Steel - Review

My opinion of this film changes every time I see it. This film tried to tell the origin of Superman in a very different way than other versions of the character. I liked the monologs Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe gave to Henry Cavill's Superman, it's just told in a very jumbled way and in the end, it doesn't make us care for Superman or even know who he is. I cared about Peter Parker, I cared about Tony Stark and I cared about Bruce Wayne. I can't say the same about Clark Kent. The structure of this film is very strange as well. Most films have a three-act structure, this feels like two. First is all the expositional set-up and the second is a CGI orgasm on screen. I will admit that some of the action set-pieces are pretty awesome but some don't look the best, especially when watching it at home. Overall, I'm glad I saw Man Of Steel but it will not be in any of my "Favourite Movie" lists anytime soon.
