Oh man. Where do I even start? Well, let's start at the beginning. After the first 10 minutes, I was blown away and was thinking, "Oh my god! This movie is going to be spectacular!" ... 30 minutes later, "Still waiting for it to be spectacular" ... Another 30 minutes later, "Wait...What?" God this movie was a mess. Looking back on it now, there could have been at least 45 minutes trimmed off this movie that felt like one of the longest films I've ever seen. There were sparks of brilliance in this movie. Ben Affleck as Batman was really good. Probably my favourite Batman ever put on screen and some (keyword being "some") of the action was enjoyable, but it's just lost in convoluted, confusing, pointless scenes that don't go anywhere and pop up out of nowhere. This film also pulls the Amazing Spider-Man 2 nonsense where they show the other superheroes of the Justice League. I know it should have gotten me excited for a Justice League film but it just made me angry because now there are more questions that won't get answered because we gotta make room for some strange subplot with Lois Lane and some terrorists in the desserts and just giving little weird hints of Lex Luthor's motivation (which doesn't make sense by the way). Even when Batman and Superman finally showdown, it's boring. Just like the rest of the movie. And this is why I am Team Marvel.
