The Mummy [1999] - Review

This movie is totally ridiculous. The cheesy one-liners, the crazy story about ancient curses and the cartoony characters are all here, but I whenever I watch it, I have a blast. You know it's ridiculous and over the top, but that's what makes it awesome! The action scenes are amazing schlock-filled fun! The characters are likable [I kinda have a huge celebrity crush on Rachel Weisz] and you easily are sucked into the adventure! I guess I like this movie a lot is because it reminds me of Universal Studios in California. If you have never been, I highly encourage you go on the ride based on this film. Movies that so easily put you in a good mood, regardless of when and where you watch it deserves props in my book. The Mummy is a wonderful joyride excitement. Totally ridiculous yet incredibly awesome!
