Saving Mr. Banks - Review

Saving Mr. Banks is "practically perfect in every way." Never has a movie made me smile as much as this one. This is the story behind the scenes of one of Disney's most cherished classics, Mary Poppins. What many people do not know is that it wasn't all smooth sailing. The collaboration between P.L. Travers and Walt Disney was a very bitter one. Not only that, but you also see P.L. Travers past and see how Mary Poppins came to be. What makes this film work so well is the amazing cast. Emma Thompson, Tom Hanks, and Colin Farrell are all fantastic along with the supporting cast that makes you smile every time they are on screen. Bradley Whitford, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman and B.J. Novak are all a ton of fun to watch. Not only does this film have very happy scenes, it has very emotional ones too. This film might bring some tears from you but I assure you that this film will leave you with a giant smile on your face. PS - This film will make you want to visit Disneyland immediately after the film.
