Entourage - Review

This a total "dude" movie. What do I mean by that? Well, this movie is about four buddies hanging out in Hollywood driving nice cars, going to parties and hooking up with supermodels. Let's be honest, It's every dude's dream and as a heterosexual male in his early 20's as of seeing this film for the first time, I can relate to such a dream. I can't really speak from a girls perspective but there were quite a few in the audience having a good time and laughing at the jokes. There is a very loose plot about our main character Vince who is a mega superstar wanting to direct his own movie, but the movie is more about the interactions between the characters and the lifestyles they live. Without knowing anything about the TV Show at the time of my first viewing, I walked into this movie completely blind and walked out completely satisfied. Obviously, I decided to watch the series and see what it's about and I really enjoyed it. Is it fantastic television? Not at all. It's the male equivalent of Sex in the City. But hey, sometimes you need a show/movie that is just a bunch of fun characters doing fun things. Don't expect to be challenged with this movie or expect to come out of this film wiser. You're more likely going to buy a plane ticket to LA and attempt after seeing this movie. That's what I did.
