The Bourne Ultimatum - Review

If the first film had way too much "downtime", this entry has almost none of it. This film fires on all cylinders about 85% of the movie. One giant chase to find Jason Bourne. Again, it is so cool seeing how Jason Bourne can outsmart the CIA with all his unorthodox tactics. The action scenes are bigger and the intensity is as high as its ever been. The only gripe I can say about it is that there is a chase scene that happens in the middle of this film that basically ushered in the "shaky-cam" era of action films. I'm not the biggest fan of it. During the fist-fights (which are amazing by the way), it works, for the most part, the chase which led up to it... not so much. The final car chase though is one that feels super heavy and gritty and it feels like it hurts. That probably was a bad way of explaining it but just watch this film to see what I'm talking about. In fact, watch the whole series. It's a good one!
