Accepted - Review

What a clever premise for a movie! Can't get into college? Make your own! I really enjoyed the pure creativeness of the writing team for this movie. Sure at the core, it's a classic simple. 'liar-reveal' story and of course it's a kinda nerdy kid who is in love with the hot blonde who is currently with the jock, but they give a nice unique twist to it. Sure, it would NEVER work! Not for a second, but who know what, who cares! If a movie can make me smile, then I don't care how recycled the plot is or how plausible the scenarios are. Justin Long is a charismatic dude and Jonah Hill is always fantastic. Blake Lively also is a nice addition to this really likable cast. Is it the funniest movie ever? Definitely not. To be honest, I wasn't laughing out loud a whole lot (there were some moments don't get me wrong) but just watching these characters on screen was enough to keep me smiling. If you see it on Netflix, I'd say give it a shot.
