Focus - Review

This movie made me mad. Not for the reason you'd think. This movie made me mad because Margot Robbie is literally the perfect human being. She is the perfect example of "too hot to handle." She was so hot, I couldn't even... focus. Terrible joke, I'm sorry. For the actual movie, it reminded me of Now You See Me in a way. Really entertaining with somewhat similar premises. I always like seeing clever ways films can depict con-artists. Some of the cons in this movie are downright evil, but they are entertaining to watch. Will Smith is also one of the most charismatic people on the planet and Margot Robbie and he shares great chemistry. However, there are some parts of the movie where I was scratching my head because it seemed like the film was treading water. Nothing was happening and I didn't care what the characters were doing or talking about. I was thinking to myself, "Okay, let's move on. I want to see more con-artistry" That is my only real gripe with the movie. Other than some of the dialogue, this movie was pretty entertaining. Not a bad choice if you're scrolling through Netflix.
