The Impossible - Review

Sometimes when writing reviews, either two things can happen. One, so much material comes to my mind of what to talk about. Things that made me excited, scared, angry, etc. Or two, nothing comes to my mind. This is one of those instances. It's weird because you'd think seeing a movie about this true life tragedy would leave a type of impact on me, but strangely enough, it only gave me one real thought. That is "man it would suck to be in that situation." That's about it. Does that make me a bad person? I don't think so. Some disaster movies based on true stories were able to make me more emotional than this one. I will give this movie one thing though, the acting is spectacular from the entire family. Ewan McGregor is a great crier and Naomi Watts is a great screamer. Even the kids do a great job ( I see you Spider-man). You'll get the reference if you've seen the movie. To be honest, that's all I can really say about this movie. I'm glad I saw it, but nothing in it really stands out as fantastic or as a reason for me to tell you guys to run out and see it. If it seems like something you'd be into, then go see it, but you're not missing much.
