Lethal Weapon is a movie that I just saw and I liked it. It is good. I like it. Good movie. Thumbs up. Get the point yet?
Nah but in all seriousness, the main reason why this movie works and why I am recommending it to all who read this, is the chemistry between the two leads. Donald Glover plays Richard Murtaugh, a man who just turned 50 and is only a couple years away from retirement from the LAPD. An honest family man who still has a wicked shot. Mel Gibson plays Martin Riggs, a man who is a suicidal maniac and you just don't know how sane he really is. Reckless and unstable, paired with experience and a by the books approach, is the perfect contrast for this thrilling and entertaining action movie.
