Being John Malkovich - Review

This was by far one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen. And again, we get into the territory of films where if you are a film student, a film professor, or a filmmaker, this is a great movie with a clever script, and a ton of layers of theme and philosophy mixed with dark comedy. However, to the average movie goer, this is a movie that could be considered boring, weird, or flat out bizarre.

Unlike The Shape Of Water, I actually side more with the film professor on this one. I was able to dive deep into the psyche of John Cusack's character wanting to get into the mind of other people. Plus, the wonderful performances and the very strange characters portrayed from both Cameron Diaz and Catherine Keener. This is just an overall bizarre movie but it kept me smiling and laughing through the whole thing.
