Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - Review

I think the biggest insult this movie commits is that it's story takes place after The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Now there is nothing wrong with making sequels, however in this case, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines took everything the first two films did and made it completely obsolete. Like everything the characters worked for the the first two films was for nothing. Now, as a movie itself, it's not THAT bad. The action scenes are pretty exciting and it's shot relatively well, and of course it's always awesome to see Arnold as The Terminator. However, this film doesn't exist in a vacuum and you have to take it's previous films into account when discussing this movie. Knowing that this film takes place in the Terminator franchise, it feels dated, it feels recycled, it feels bland, it feels boring and it ultimately feels unnecessary and forgettable.
