1917 - Review

1917 is unlike any movie I have ever seen before. No film has ever made me feel so scared and tense in a movie theatre in my life. The production design and the sets are unbelievable and the cinematography is absolutely stunning. Plus, the decision to make the film look like one continuous shot not only is a phenomenal technical achievement, but it's in service to a simple yet incredibly effective story. Not only was my emotional investment at an all high, I was on the edge of my seat from the opening frame until the credits.
