Bad Boys For Life - Review

Bad Boys For Life is a movie that is both extremely violent, and over dramatic. While I was invested in the story because for the first time in the franchise, it seems like the characters came first, the two contrasting tones were a little too much to handle. My brain wasn't able to make the transition between the two tones very easily. Martin Lawrence and Will Smith still have amazing chemistry and provide humour and heart, however this film didn't give me reason to watch it again. It's an enjoyable movie for sure with nothing really terrible in it. If you are a fan of Bad Boys, then I'd say check this movie out. If not, then enter at your own discretion. There are far better, but also far worse movies out there.
