You Only Live Twice - Review

This was the Bond movie where cheesiness still exists due to the fact that it was made in 1967, but unlike Thunderball, it wasn't distracting. Okay, James Bond pretends to be Japanese, which was not only offensive, but totally pointless to the plot, but I digress. Out of all of the James Bond films so far, this might have to be my favourite plot next to Goldfinger. You feel the weight and the circumstances of Spectre's big bad plans and it all comes down to one hell of an exciting Climax. The stunts and fights got better and this is overall an enjoyable movie. Sure, Sean Connery may be phoning it in here and there, but he still is charming as James Bond. The bond girls kind of do a reset half way through the movie which was rather poinless, but the plot was engaging. As you can tell, I'm all over the place with my thought process for this movie, but I really enjoyed myself with this one.
